Gleason's Boxing Gym - world famous gym (New York's oldest) where Jake La Motta, Mohammed Ali, Mike Tyson trained, to name a few... also runs charity programs and in this particular case working for children with Autism. This film showcases the work Jessica Margulies and her team @ The Spectrum Bout does to help autistic children. They utilise the same values and principles of Boxing (strength, self control, social integration) to help the children feel good and learn new ways to face life's challenges. We were very proud to make this film for them and to get to know such lovely people. Bruce, the owner of the gym is a true champion, perhaps not in the ring, but as the owner of a brand that is always looking to help society. Corporate Video Client: Conosco - IT services (Technology, Security, Communications) Video Production: Tailored Media https://tailoredmedia.co.uk Cameras: Arri Alexa Mini LF Editing: Premiere Pro + After Effects + DaVinci Overview: Corporate video production example that we made for an outstanding digital IT company - specialised in IT Support, IT Consulting and IT Security. We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Conosco team, a really professional team of experts in their field, super friendly as well. We wanted to approach a classic case study (corporate video) with a more cinematic look and feel. Threading the narrative with four interviews in 2 minutes... Using slow motion 24p on the latest ARRI Alexa Mini LF (large format camera), using some vintage 70s Zuiko lenses designed primarily for journalism work on SLR cameras. For the audio we applied a vintage ribbon sound FX (and warm valve sound) VST plugins... Huge thanks to the team of filmmakers and editors working on this project with us. This is an amazing project we worked on, following the creative process behind Mat Collishaw's recent work The Nerve Rack. We spent a few days at USHAW College and filmed the work being installed, including an interview with the artist and some of the people working on it. We had huge fun, were incredibly inspired, and feel very lucky to have worked on such a thought provoking piece. Tailored Media is a video production company based in London.
